Expect Embrace Endure

As we continue to celebrate a Risen Savior, let us never forget the suffering Jesus went through for you and I. Christ knew what His mission was, He expected to suffer. His sacrifice deserves to be honored in the way we celebrate Easter and live our lives. The Bible tells us that being a Christian is not easy. Trials and conflict have been, and always will be, a part of this world. The testing of our faith is both necessary and beneficial.

Not only does the Bible tell us to expect conflict but also to embrace it. This is a hard concept for many to understand and follow through with. However, God’s Word is clear that trials in our life serve as an opportunity to mature and make our faith complete; just as precious metals are refined over and over in the fire. The key is to believe in the value of hard times!

We are also called to endure or persevere to the end. A strong faith will be mirrored by a strong life where an unstable faith will be mirrored by an unstable life. Are you facing trials in your life? Do you feel lost or broken? If so, I challenge you to embrace it through the strength and comfort that only Jesus can give…
