Are You Thirsty?

The human body cannot survive without water; it is the way we were created. After three days (sound familiar?), our bodies will cease to function without water and we will die. On the other hand, we can go two weeks without food.

In the book of Isaiah, God tells us that with joy we will draw water from the wells of salvation. Many of us remain "thirsty" because we keep drinking from the wrong wells. We search the world for something to quench our thirst but find only temporary relief. Jesus told the woman at the well she was drinking the wrong water and that he offered living water. It is this living water that can truly quench our thirst. What well have you been drinking from?

See you in church tomorrow...
