Are You Thirsty?

The human body was designed by an Almighty Creator to be able to only survive three days without water; compared to food which the body can survive without for almost three weeks. Important side note: I do not believe it is a coincidence that Jesus was also only in the tomb for three days. God's wisdom is everywhere if we are willing to look for it!


I invite you to read the first chapter of Psalms today. It contains beautiful wisdom and insight into being a believer in today's society. In verse three, the author describes what it is like for someone who daily puts their trust in God. Like a tree planted by the water, we will bear fruit when it is His time for us to do so and not wither when the adverse weather comes.


In the book of John, Jesus tells us that living water flows from Him and that all that drink from this water will never grow thirsty. What is even more exciting is that Jesus also tells us we will become a fountain of this living water that can be seen by those we come in contact with as we share our testimony about what Jesus has done for us. Water provides the body relief and the necessary hydration to function. Living water nourishes our soul...
