Most people know I have had a love for horses my entire life. Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with Dad breaking a young horse. My job was to do the saddle work which meant that Dad would put me in the saddle and tell me to hang on! I loved every part about those experiences (even the falling off and getting back on).

Having horses, you sometimes have to call the farrier to come out and trim their hooves and even sometimes put shoes on. These shoes would need to be "fitted" to each of the horse's hooves. Each a unique creation just like us.

Psalms 139 tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. How incredible to contemplate and come to the realization that God the Creator took the time to form you. Never let anyone tell you that you are not special!

I am VERY MUCH looking forward to church tomorrow where we will celebrate my ordination as the pastor of Otsego First Baptist. Even better, we are having a carry-in dinner after service. I will save you a place at the table :-)

See you in church...
