God's Fingerprint

If you look at the world around us and how we are each individually made, there can be no doubt that creation comes from a Creator. From snowflakes, the changing of seasons and the trillions of chemical reactions and processes that occur daily for our bodies to function God's fingerprint is apparent for those willing to look.

Psalms 19 (verses 1-7) The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Have you ever allowed yourself a day to experience and reflect upon God's fingerprint? From the rising to the setting of the sun, all that has been created is unique to the Creator. If you look closely, His creation, just like His fingerprint, is identifiable. You can see God in nature. You can see God in the laughter of a small child. You can see God in the warmth of the sun. When reading the Bible and imaging what heaven will be like, you can also see His fingerprint. Jesus is preparing a place there for you and me.

We can see God's fingerprint in our lives. If you look back throughout your years on earth, you can trace His presence as He fulfills His promise to never leave us or forsake us.

I encourage you to spend some quality time with God today looking for His fingerprint in your life...
