Who Is Thinking For You?

Writing this post, I had the offer to have it written for me by artificial intelligence. Better yet, it asked if I wanted it to write a better version than mine! It is definitely both exciting and scary times we are living in. How easy it has become to have someone else do our thinking for us.

It seems that anything and everything is encouraging us to allow them to do so. From politics to social media, we are being heavily influenced by the voices of many. And, at times it is hard to discern who and what to listen to.

God's Word paints a very different and comforting picture when it comes to our thoughts. Throughout the Bible, we read of how He can and will protect our minds and fill it with things from above and not below.

The writer of Proverbs (16:3) tells us this, Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. All of us can be, and sometimes are easily swayed. In a world full of noise, I encourage you to tune out a lot of the distractions to clearly hear what Jesus has to say...
