Your Body is a Temple

As Christians, our body, soul and mind (should) belong to God. When you confessed to Jesus that you were a sinner, asked Him to come into your life and promised to start living for Him did you realize you were inviting the Holy Spirit to dwell within all three?

The Apostle Paul tells the church in Corinth that, as believers, we were bought with a price. Jesus died on that cross for the remission of our sins. By doing so, he allowed us to have a place with Him and the Father both in this life and in Heaven. We are bond servants to the Master. We belong to Him fully (body, mind and soul); anything less takes away from the life Christ wants for us and our relationship with Him. The definition of sin is anything that takes us away from God. Period.

Throughout the bible, we learn of how we are to take care of ourselves for the Lord. He made us to honor, worship and have fellowship with Him. In order to do so, we need to "exercise" everyday. Are you looking for a new start in 2024? Are you wanting to live a healthier and happier life? If so, I encourage you to dive into God's Word and join us for church.
