Complete Restoration

Lovel and I have always talked about purchasing a home to completely restore. With her experience in real estate and my basic knowlege of repair, we would like to take it on as a project to see what it would be like to bring a home back to its former beauty.

Our relationship with Christ is a lot like restoring a home. Psalms 23:3 tells us that He restoreth my soul. Similar to an older home, maybe you have been neglected or mistreated, or even forgotten about by those that once loved and cared for you. Jesus has the power to restore and make you a new creature. The world offers various temporary fixes. Only Jesus can completely restore you. Just like a house being remodeled, He can fix both your exterior and interior. He can bring life back to a once dead soul. He can find beauty where others only see neglect and ruin.

How is your soul today? Are you searching for some restoration? If so, I invite you to ask Jesus to come into your "house" so He can get to work on making you whole again.

See you in church tomorrow...
