Did You Even Notice?

Hopefully you begin, experience and end every day thanking God for the numerous blessings in life. Even during the hard times, there are many things we can still be thankful for. In fact, it is this mindset that can carry us through the darkest hours of our lives.

1Thessalonians 5:18 tells us this is the will of God. When you spend time in prayers of thanksgiving, you will be amazed at how your overall outlook changes for the better.

One of the many wonders of God is how He created our bodies to work with pinpoint precision. An orchestra of muscles, cells, organs and bones sending messages to one another working in harmony to allow us to function. The very origin of man's existence began when the Creator breathed the breath of life into Adam's nostrils. On average, a person breath's over 20,000 times per day. Did you even notice doing so? Unless we struggle to breath or take time to inhale and exhale deeply, must of us breath without ever noticing. Struggling to breath can be one of the scariest things a person experiences. Whether it is having the wind knocked out of you, suffering from asthma or getting choked, panic quickly sets in. While, on the other hand, deep breathing can have a positive impact on both stress and anxiety.

In the Book of Isaiah, we read that God gives breath to His people while the Book of Acts tells us that God gives everyone breath and life. How amazing to know that God is impacting our lives over 20,000 times per day! Imagine how much more He does in addition to the breath we breathe...
