Lead Me Oh Lord

Who or what are you following lately? For many people, they are finding themselves lost because they have chosen to follow someone or something that has taken them off the path. The Book of Psalms is full of verses that mention letting or asking God to lead. Of all the sound advice found in God's Word, scripture telling us to let Him lead in every aspect of our lives is perhaps one of the greatest.

Psalms 5:8, 25:5 and 139:10 are just a few I encourage you read and reflect on as you talk to God about who is leading your life. As you do so, I also invite you to ask God for this guidance:

  • Lord, guide my feet to take me where You want me to be.

  • Heavenly Father, fill me mouth with words that honor and uplift You.

  • God, strengthen my heart to be able to remain thankful in an unthankful world.

  • Jesus, focus my eyes on You and not the distractions the enemy puts in my path.

Thank You for being willing to be my guide and lovingly putting me back on the right path when I stray...
