We were created to work. It is ordained, prioritized and exemplified by God. The very first chapter of the bible finds The Creator hard at work; purposefully laying out the earth and all that was in it.

There is almost a euphoric feeling after a good day of work when you have accomplished something of importance and that what you did mattered and made a difference. The key to work is who we are working for: man or God? Of course we all have bosses at our job who oversee the guidelines of our chosen profession. As Christians, we are to give our best at whatever job we have been given to perform. It should not matter who is watching or who gets the credit.

Growing up, my parents taught me the value of a good work ethic and the importance of it in my life. We were made to perform tasks, accomplish goals and give to a collective effort. We were also made to provide for our family; the bible speaks very specifically and severly on those who do not!

As The Body of Christ, let's get to work and be all that He created us to be...
