Have you ever grown a garden? Or had the chance to eat vegetables straight from the garden before they were processed and canned (there is definitely a difference). I can tell you that procuding a "frutiful" garden is not easy. It takes a lot of work, time and attention.

In the 13th verse of Matthew, Jesus is telling the parable of the farmer who is sowing (planting) seeds. As Christians, we have the duty to sow seeds of the Spirit and grow God's garden in our life.

When sowing God's garden, we need to remember a couple of important things: first, you need to find solid ground to plant seeds. Second, you need to make sure the seeds are receiving the right amount of sun and water. and lastly, you need to make sure your garden is protected as it grows.

Just remember, whether you are sowing, water or protecting God's garden, the Son makes it grow. I encourage you to stand back every once in a while and watch Him work!

See you in church tomorrow...
