There is a Place at the Table

Psalm 23 is, perhaps, one of the most well known chapters in the entire Bible. It has been used over thousands of years for thousands of situations. I personally carried an image of it on my ticket book during my career with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Seeing and reading those words every day/night provided me great comfort in very stressful situations.

At Otsego First Baptist, we have informally adopted "a place at the table" as our motto. In the sanctuary, you will find a simple table, chair, place setting and a Bible opened up to the 23rd Psalm. As a congregation, we feel this represents the preparation that Jesus is making for each of us AND that all are welcome to accept His salvation. There is a place for both you and me at the table of the Savior. He has invited us to sit and sup with Him. Will you accept?

I hope each of you has a great rest to your week and encourage you to be a light to a lost and dying world. See you in church on Sunday...
