Today is the Day!

I have never been one that wants to just to check off another day on the calendar. However I will admit that there have been days that I just wanted to get through! Life becomes so much more meaningful and enjoyable when we realize that EACH day is a gift from God. Our days, which seem to be filled with more and more activities, have both good and bad moments. Each day is also filled with opportunities to share your faith with someone, to speak into thier lives or simply provide a smile or kind word. Small gestures of kindness are like peebles thrown into a pond: they have a ripple effect!!

The Book of Proverbs tells us in chapter 27 to "not boast about tomorrow,

for you do not know what a day may bring." Many of us spend today thinking about what may be in a tomorrow that may never come. In doing so, we lose out on the blessings of this day and all that can be experienced and enjoyed. As your pastor, I encourage you to be present in the moment, listed to and talk with God throughout your day and thank Him for the many blessings that are (sometimes) taken for granted.

I hope you are able to enjoy this beautiful weather we have been given and have a great rest of your week.

See you in church on Sunday...

Pastor Aaron
