Jeremiah has often been referred to as the "weeping prophet", and rightfully so. His writings contain serious warnings, heartaches, isolation, as well as emotional and spiritual anguish. However, through his words, we can find insight and hope for our lives. In the Book of Jeremiah (29:11), he tells us this, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God's plan for us is very simple. We sometimes overcomplicate things when we pick and choose only parts of His plan. We need to remind ourselves all of God's plan fits together just like His Word through scripture. Scores of people today, even in many churches, walk around aimlessly. They work their jobs and take care of their families, but struggle to understand what it is that God wants them to do.

God's plan is waiting: for you and me, our families, our church and our jobs. His plan involves ALL aspects of our lives. In other words, do we search out His will for everything? In order to carry out God's plan for your life, you must first be willing to listen to His plan. Then you must be willing to trust His plan. And finally, you must be willing to carry out His plan.

You can be sure that the enemy has a plan; he wants to normalize evil and make us comfortable with it. Just look at the increase in social media, television, movies and the news. We are constantly exposed to it until we slowly become de-sensitized to it. That is how the devil attacks our families, schools and churches. God's Word warns us that the enemy's plan is to kill and destroy. So, what is your plan?
