Too Tired?

All of us, at one time or another, have worn ourselves out. Whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual we have felt what it is like to be exhausted. But have you ever found yourself tired all the time? And no matter what you do, you cannot seen to overcome it? Perhaps it is the pace of the world in which we live. Or, more importantly, it may be how you are approaching your relationship with Jesus.

If you are tired of being tired all of the time, you may be experiencing one of three things.

You are battle weary; utterly exhausted after a prolonged struggle. For those that have been in a real fight, it does not take long! Like Jacob after wrestling with God or Moses trying to keep his arms up in the air, you are simply depleted from battling for so long.

Perhaps you are overly tired from doing too much good for God. Although that statement may seem to contradict itself, the enemy loves using excessive work for Jesus against us. We go and do and fill our days with giving, helping and sharing to exhaustion. It is at that moment when good things can become bad for us. Although we may start out with the best intentions; pushing ourselves too much and not how God intended can have extremely negative consequences on our health.

And lastly, you may be weary from fighting solo. Many times, we choose to try and fight every battle alone before seeking God for guidance, strength and confidence.

Are your injuries (physical, mental or spiritual) from battle not healing properly? If so, I encourage you to spend some time with the Great Physician...
